This was the inauguration of our Children's and Youth Library...

Cesoles shared the joy of renovating the Library, reopening it on Friday, April 11, as a space dedicated to promoting reading, benefiting around 200 children and young people in our area.

We had special assistance from Juanita Grillo, a specialist advisor in children's literature, Martha Díez, a benefactor of the work, and Mariam Gabriela, a Spanish teacher at the Templo del Saber school, which generated great enthusiasm among the participants.

The celebration consisted of a few words of encouragement to reading, a presentation of the care proposal, a reading aloud of the book "Bats in the Library," a tour of the space where the children showed their favorite books to their families, and an exhibition of the new books purchased thanks to the funds raised by the 'Charity Pot' campaign, promoted by Lush Austria.

Thus, during this first half of the year, reading has been promoted through activities such as the celebration of International Children's Book Day, the celebration of Language Day, and an exhibition of books by authors such as Hans Christian Andersen, Mary Grueso, and Gabriel García Márquez. Reading aloud has taken center stage with the reading of the children's novel written by Roald Dahl, "The Super Fox." The children enjoyed the book and later the film.

Growing in Solidarity Kindergarten

This has been a very celebratory semester. The children enjoyed Children's Week with a party organized by the Mothers' Committee, attending the play "Pinocchio," and a fun day in the park of the Lourdes sports center.

In April, we restarted our dance and flute workshops, benefiting children. In addition, we launched a new Children's Choir workshop, with the goal of establishing a city-wide choral representation.
